I've always been fascinated by people. Why we are the way we are, why we respond to certain situations the way we do, and how much of who we believe ourselves to be has been shaped by the families we grew up in, the relationships we've experienced, and everything we've learned about what it takes to be loved, accepted, successful, or safe.
Somewhere along the way, we develop an entire understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We inherit beliefs, form expectations, create identities, and learn ways of navigating life that become so familiar we rarely think to question them. I've become particularly curious about how these unconscious filters influence our relationships, our choices, our emotional experiences, and even how we feel within our own bodies. How much stress, tension, or dis-ease might we be carrying because we've adapted to ways of living that no longer feel right for us?
For nearly 15 years, I built a successful career in corporate consulting, became a leader, and got very good at doing what looked right on paper. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, I was becoming increasingly drawn to consciousness, meditation, energy work, and understanding what might be happening beneath the surface of our everyday experiences.
I've been receiving BodyTalk and exploring consciousness-based healing modalities for many years, and during some of the most challenging and transformative periods of my life. That exploration gradually changed how I understood myself, my relationships, and what I believed was possible for my future.

At 32, I made the difficult decision to end my marriage of seven years and begin again. Around that time, I'd been learning to connect more deeply with myself, recognize how I wanted to feel in my life, and trust what I was discovering, even when I couldn't fully explain it. Eventually, that journey led me toward a relationship and a kind of love I hadn't known was possible for me. Following that knowing meant stepping away from a life I'd spent years building, accepting that others might not understand my choices, and discovering that I could trust myself even without knowing exactly how everything would unfold.
More recently, I followed that same curiosity when I left my corporate consulting career to pursue my passion for consciousness, healing, and soul development. After spending so many years building an identity around achievement, productivity, and success, I wanted to discover who I was without all of it. And perhaps more importantly, what I might create when I stopped allowing those old definitions to determine the direction of my life.
Today, I'm a Certified BodyTalk practitioner, Reiki Master, and lifelong student of consciousness, with a practice also informed by shamanic energy work, meditation, and intuitive development. I've experienced firsthand how exploring our beliefs, emotional experiences, and unconscious patterns can change the way we understand ourselves and navigate our lives. I've also witnessed meaningful shifts in others, sometimes through connections between seemingly unrelated experiences that neither of us would have thought to explore.
Witnessing my dad’s recovery from a severe stroke has deepened my curiosity about what becomes possible when we approach healing from multiple perspectives, combining conventional medical care with consciousness-based practices like BodyTalk. His stroke significantly affected his speech, mobility, and cognitive functioning, and watching him continue to progress has challenged some of the early expectations surrounding his recovery. This has made me deeply curious about the expectations and assumptions that can surround someone after a life-changing diagnosis.
I've seen how easily we begin viewing people through the lens of their circumstances or limitations, and his journey has reinforced my belief in the importance of seeing the whole person, remaining open to possibility, and recognizing that there is often more to someone's experience than what we can immediately observe.

My work and experiences have brought me alongside corporate executives, seven-figure earners, founders, and athletes - people who are often incredibly capable and accomplished, yet still navigating the complexities of being human. I'm fascinated by the relationship between high performance and our internal experiences: the pressure to succeed, the fear of failure, the expectations we carry, and those moments when confidence, creativity, or abilities that once felt effortless suddenly seem out of reach.
Through my work with women, I've become especially interested in the patterns that can develop around self-worth, belonging, and emotional safety. The need to explain ourselves until we're understood, the tendency to prioritize everyone else's comfort, the difficulty trusting our own decisions, or the feeling that we have to earn love and acceptance by being useful, agreeable, or successful. I've seen how deeply these experiences can shape the way women move through the world, often without realizing how much of their energy is spent anticipating other people's reactions or questioning their own needs. What fascinates me is exploring where these patterns may have originated, how they've served us, and whether they're still aligned with the women we're becoming.
I'm particularly drawn to supporting people navigating major life transitions, identity shifts, relationships, and spiritual awakenings, as well as those experiencing burnout, anxiety, chronic stress, or a sense of nervous system dysregulation. Having built my own career as a high performer while navigating life with ADHD, I'm especially interested in the experiences of neurodivergent individuals, including the unique ways we think, process information and energy, and experience the world.
I'm also drawn to people navigating fertility journeys or recovery from life-changing health challenges, and those exploring their relationship with achievement, confidence, and personal capacity.
Within my sessions, we may explore the beliefs, experiences, and patterns that seem connected to what someone is navigating, while also making space for their intentions and aspirations. My spiritual approach includes working with the concept of universal consciousness, inviting people to connect with what they wish to experience or create in their lives, without needing to control exactly how those possibilities unfold.
What fascinates me most is the possibility that so much of what we believe about who we are may actually be something we've learned, inherited, or adapted to along the way.
Through Ascend with Erin, I'm bringing together my lived experiences, years of spiritual exploration, and the compassion, empathy, and curiosity that have always been part of me.
I'm interested in creating space for you to become curious about yourself, explore what may be influencing your experience, and reconnect with the wisdom and knowing that already exist within you.
I look forward to connecting!
